A Registered Nurse (RN) can start their beginning practice once they finish their one-year nursing programs but they get career developments only after completing a 4-year bachelor’s degree course or 2-year associate degree course.

Nursing School Completion Period
Nursing School students can start their practice as a nurse just within a year of their vocational nursing program. But, the RN licensure requires a 2-year of nursing school to practice like a professional.

Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (BSN)
BSN degree is similar to ADN but BSN degree program allows you to start your career as a registered nurse. The BSN degree also offers the foundation for graduate and higher studies in nursing.
Students who do not have any nursing experience can take complete 4-year BSN degree program and take the licensure exam to get the certificate. If the student has already completed ADN program, then they can finish the RN program in just two years.
